The 50th Anniversary Boot Dϋsseldorf celebrated with a record number of exhibitors. The Berthon Team were among 2,000 exhibitors from 73 countries. This event is now established as one of Europe’s premier boat shows covering every aspect of marine leisure from kite surfing to super yachts. Each discipline is housed in its own specialised hall or halls. It is a must for all major yacht and boat builders.
Solaris Yachts – Performance Cruising:
We are the UK and Ireland agents for Solaris Yachts, with Berthon’s Alan McIlroy and Richard Baldwin on the stand. On display was the Solaris 44 first shown at the Cannes Boat Show last September, the Solaris 50 currently the top selling Solaris model, the Solaris 55 with her smart silver grey top sides and teak interior and the all new Solaris 64RS premiering at Boot Dϋsseldorf . We saw a 6 fold increase in British clients attending the show, with both increased interest in the brand and extremely positive feedback for all the yachts displayed. A very successful show!
Windy – Quality Scandinavian Performance and Craftsmanship:
Windy Boats had a great show, with both Berthon UK – Ben Toogood and Rob Steadamn and Berthon France – Bruno Kairet coming home with good new contacts as well as 3 new Windy orders – 2 Windy 29 Coho GTs and the a Windy 31 Zonda all destined for the Cote d’Azur. Windy were also showing the Windy 27 Solano, Windy 39 Camira and Windy 46 Chinook.
Pearl Yachts – Brilliantly Designed, Beautifully Detailed:
The very cool Pearl Yachts stand attracted lots of attention, as the backdrop for the Pearl 80 whose good looks from Dixon design, great engineering and finish as well as her atmospheric and stunning Kelly Hoppen interior made her a hit. This great yacht will be available to see and touch in March at Berthon’s HQ in Lymington. Please ask us for all the griff.
