From the 27th April to the 1st May, we had teams from all our offices at this great, relaxed and sunny show, which offers a standard new yacht show environment – the Palma Boat Show – together with a gathering of the bulk of the larger sail and motor yacht brokerage fleets currently for sale in the Western Mediterranean. Palma is the centre for yacht sales and so it is great that it highlights that capability annually with the Palma Superyacht Show.
We were showing the Dixon 73 LA LUNA, recently pitstopped by Berthon Spain. It was great to be working alongside the Berthon team there, with Addy Daly and Andrew Fairbrass both managing and working on the show throughout.

With her stunning good looks, light and airy beech interior, lovely deck saloon and epic layout, she had lots of visitors and complements. Of high tech build, she is strong as a hummer, yet light as a feather. With a carbon rig and in-boom furling, she is also ferociously fast for quick and comfortable ocean passages.

In addition to the clients that we saw, it was also a good opportunity to show LA LUNA to the many yacht brokers who had travelled from all corners of the world to participate in and to see this great show.
Pictured here are Sophie Kemp from Berthon UK, Jennifer Stewart from Berthon USA and Sue Grant, showing the female Berthon contingent well represented in Palma this year.
Bruno Kairet was also at the show with clients for Pearl, whose stand was close to LA LUNA, showing the Pearl 65, 80 and 95.
Berthon Spain are also the brand ambassadors for the Discovery Group, and prepared their entry, a Southerly 480 sailed from the UK for the event, to ensure that she was gleaming for the show.
The Palma Superyacht Show grows in prominence each year. If you missed this year’s show, make a note to visit in 2019.
The Berthon team will look forward to you there.
