The Pearl 82 was unveiled at Düsseldorf Boat Show 2023 and excitingly, this pocket-superyacht with a raised pilothouse design and main deck master cabin, will launch in 2024 and we can’t contain our excitement. The recognisable exterior design lines and extravagant glazing is the work of renowned naval architect Bill Dixon, who has been working with Pearl since 2010. The winning combination is continued with the design star Kelly Hoppen, who has created three distinct interior options to suit all tastes and ensure that luxury living on the ocean is well and truly catered for. By blending selected timbers, fine materials and elegant detailing, the interior is designed to make sure the yacht feels very special from the moment you step on board.
As we have come to expect from Pearl Yachts, the Pearl 82 is a true innovation in yacht design. Featuring a stunning main deck master cabin with access to a foredeck balcony, this 25m yacht boasts five en suite cabins, plus accommodation for up to 3 crew. The extended, well-appointed flybridge has again been designed around entertaining, easily accommodating 15 people, with optional Jacuzzi and sun pad. Impressively the flybridge is not only accessed from the cockpit and raised helm, but also from the foredeck lounge. This increases the fluidity of the entertaining spaces and overall usability of the yacht. Down on the aft deck Pearl have included fold-down terraces for unrestricted views with two layout options, Rivera or Veranda, the former featuring aft facing sun pads behind a fixed table and sofa, while the veranda has seating that pivots from dining mode to looking out over the terraces. It doesn’t stop there… The Pearl 82 is equipped with a huge garage that houses a Williams 345 Jet tender, Jet Ski and Seabobs – leaving the hydraulic bathing platform clear for those perfect days on the water.
The accommodation on board offers a superior yachting experience for a boat of this class, up to eight guests on the lower deck level, with two VIP cabins and two twin cabins that convert to doubles at a touch of a button, all en suite. The breath-taking, full-beam master suite is located on the main deck forward, far away from guests and crew. Her main saloon deck is palatial, comprising a vast open lounge area flanked by panoramic glazing, leading forward towards a bar and cleverly separated galley. The crew accommodation has three berths in two cabins and is set forward of the engine room, offering further flexibility of use for those cruising with crew and ensuring that noise levels in the lower accommodation is kept to a minimum.
The planing hull is laid with GRP that is vacuum resin infused to gain strength and stiffness. With the larger MAN 2000HP, she is expected to reach a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising range of 390 nautical miles at 20 knots, giving your cruising plans plenty of scope. It is possible to specify both the Seakeeper zero speed gyro stabilizer, along with fin stabilizers for perfect balance both underway and at anchor.
Bill Dixon says:
“As with every Pearl design, the challenge is to pursue a class-leading, feature-led design. The design had to retain the defining features of a Pearl while balancing a sporty profile with large interior volumes and extensive hull, superstructure and roof glazing. Without a doubt, the Pearl 82 is a stand-out design in the 80ft market.”
The Pearl 82 truly encapsulates luxury living on the water and has been designed and built to be as remarkable as you.
