The Iguana Expedition has been a popular model within the range. Just recently, there has been noticeable jibe in the yachting industry – with more and more larger yacht owners converting to or building a secondary boat as a more robust expedition yacht. Giving them the opportunity to travel to more remote and beautiful places in the world. Why wouldn’t you choose a tender to match!
A smart drive engine operates twin tank treads with all-terrain capability that fold out from the carbon fiber hull in just 3 seconds. The pioneering rubber landing gear can navigate rocks, mud, sand, and gravel at up to 4.5mph and comfortably traverse a 27% gradient. If you can walk through it, so can the Iguana – and their clean sculptural form is instantly recognizable, already iconic. Every detail is handcrafted and perfectly executed using only the finest materials. Balancing beauty and efficiency, an Iguana can be fully customized to match your lifestyle: from the plated railing to the exact tone of the upholstery. Hidden technology, from GPS to Bluetooth, wireless streaming to Bose speakers, keeps the lines simple and luxurious. Inner beauty precision engineering, impeccable tailoring and fine quality combine to create the Iguana’s simple, yet superlative interior.
She is powered by the Mercury V8 300hp outboard that offers an impressive top end performance of 38 knots. However, more importantly a cruising speed of 30 knots can be effortlessly maintained in order to explore the beauty spots on our shorelines. This Iguana Expedition has been extremely well specified, including Flexiteek throughout, five shock-mitigating seats that are incredibly comfortable when riding along, and a large Garmin plotter accompanied by Mercury’s built in engine data controls. She has now run modest engine hours, which reflects, in her current condition. Please see the work that has been completed in 2022 listed below.
The sharp deep-V of the Iguana pierces through the waves, while the spray rail that runs the full length of the hull, creates lift and guides the Iguana quickly onto the plane. With the legs safely stowed the hull benefits from the 340 kilos of ballast sitting above the waterline on each side, creating remarkable stability for a 31ft sports cruiser. Interestingly the air flows between the legs of the mobility system, behave similarly to a stepped hull. All of this translates into epic fun performance, while keeping the crew safe and dry!
The Iguana is hugely convenient if you own a water front property, restaurant or anything that has direct access to the water. She is the perfect craft for transporting people from boat to land.
Welcome to hassle free boating with zero mooring fees!
