One of the original run of prototype boats built by Holby Marine, before Tillotson Pearson took over volume production. Holby Marine has a great reputation for high quality boats, and this boat has little to no crazing in the gelcoat, that was common in other Alerion Express 28s. ENTERPRISE benefits from a new Selden mast, a brand new rebuilt Yanmar 9hp engine has just been installed, and the varnish is fresh. The cockpit is long and accommodates 6 with ease. Down below, the cabin is light and airy, with a vee berth forward, and small galley to starboard, opposite a settee/berth. Teak and holly floorboards, in great shape, and a cooler with teak and holly on the lid, to double up as the access step. Laid teak cockpit sole. White Awlgripped topsides.

The jib is on a roller furling unit, with a self tacking track, and also genoa tracks on the side decks. The winches are Barient, and the traveller is Harken. Fin keel and tiller steered spade rudder on self aligning bearings.

Garmin GPS on swing out bracket, VHF, twin bulkhead compasses, stereo.

Owner has relocated to California. Very attractively priced. There is a growing fleet of Alerions racing on Sundays, from Conanicut Yacht Club, in Jamestown, RI. This would be an ideal boat to join the fun!

I have enjoyed owning ENTERPRISE for a decade or so, and kept her at the boatyard where I was the waterfront manager. I have just relocated to California, hence the reason for selling the boat. I’ve done lots of upgrades in the time I have owned her.
