Albert Couach created Couach engines in Arcachon in 1897, and Robert Arcoa – the Couach Yachts shipyard in 1947. Arcoa’s name has become synonymous with quality, creativity and French elegance. The shipyard became the first European manufacturer of pleasure boats, with over 2000 units sold in 50 years.
This Arcoa Mystic 44, professionally maintained by the same company since she was launched in 2007, provides two generous sized cabins in a 14 meters classic styled motorboat, which continues the tradition of the Couach Shipyard, from whom Arcoa Yachts are born.
The access from the cockpit to the saloon was, at the time of build, an innovation – an ingenious system of glazed windows that has the benefit of a merged area when opened, which today, we see on a numerous other yachts. The separate galley is situated at cabin level ensuring maximum space on the main deck for entertaining. The owner’s cabin in forward and guest cabin aft, both benefit from their own private bathrooms and provide berths for 4 plus, and another one on the saloon couch which, with the benefit of the hi/lo table becomes a comfortable single bed.
She is powered by a pair of economical Caterpillars 465hp inboard diesel engines on direct shaft drive. Coupled with the bow thruster, she is quite easy to handle and manoeuvre. This Arcoa Mystic 44 is very well equipped with its electrical high/low cockpit table, gangway, dishwasher, grill, microwave, two fridges, lots of teak and wood, bow thruster, and air conditioning. The main deck layout offers plenty of options, with a sun pad on the bow, indoor and outdoor dining. She is ready to enjoy the rest of the 2020 season and to be handed over for her new owner with maintenance up to date. She is priced for a quick sale.
