The Beneteau Oceanis 361 is a popular cruiser, and WALKABOUT III is presented in excellent condition throughout. Overall, she offers a well designed and built modern family cruising yacht that is perfect for coastal cruising or longer offshore passages. WALKABOUT III is the unusual lifting keel, three cabin version, offering shallow draft cruising and three double cabins outside of the saloon.

Steps leading down from the cockpit below deck reveal a spacious U-shaped galley to port comprising double stainless steel sink, two burner hob and oven, Frigomatic front opening refrigerator together with ample storage provided by a large storage locker and cupboards above and below. Further, you have the comfortable saloon area with drop leaf table, sofa berth to port and starboard and plenty of storage. For accommodation, there is a double berth forward with two further good-sized double berth cabins aft. On deck, she has ample space with a large cockpit, boarding platform aft, all lines are leading aft making it is easy to sail short-handed and a good overall sail plan.

Overall, she has been very well looked after over the last 14 years by the current owner, with many new options being added. WALKABOUT III will offer someone the perfect family cruising yacht, with the option to take you on many sailing adventures.

We have owned WALKABOUT III for 14 years and have had many adventures and great memories. We purchased WALKABOUT III for her variable draft and great space, which suited our mooring and growing family. The variable draft permitted an economical shallow mooring and allowed us to be near or even on the beaches with the kids. We have sailed her to most south coast ports west of the Solent, the Channel Islands, North and South Brittany, Isles of Scilly and Southern Island. She has been a great boat for us but now with just two of us and no longer having a need for shallow draft we are looking toward a more classic boat, our other passion.
