The fan favourite Botnia Targa has a very strong following and out on the water it is easy to see why. This 2011 Botnia Targa 32 LINARA V sits on a pair of Volvo Penta D4-300s that have been well maintained by Berthon. LINARA V is still in her first ownership from new. She boasts a comprehensive specification including bow thruster, trim tabs, Raymarine touch navigation equipment, autopilot, 4KW raydome, Webasto heating to name a few.

Botnia Targa are described as the 4x4s of the sea, due to their solid build and ability to plough through waves while deflecting spray. This does imply however, that the handling is lethargic, when in actual fact Botnia Targas handle more like a Porsche!

She is the perfect boat for family adventures and comes with incredibly safe features, which gives you confidence when cruising with elderly and/or younger passengers. LINARA V has covered a total of 264 hours since first hand over in 2011. The current owners have thoroughly enjoyed their ownership and will continue to love the water in their new boat.

The boat has lived in Berthon since new and has been taken down to the Channel Islands and numerous other popular destinations across the Solent. Credit to OY Botnia Marine, they have thought of everything when it comes to practical features, such as the sliding up and down saloon table and the sliding back rest, creating a great area for socialising and dining on colder nights.

Owner’s Comments

LINARA V was bought directly from Finland by my father. She has proved to be an incredible seagoing boat and she has taken us cross channel, down to the south west coast and all around the Solent. I have made some modifications to her so she now has a sunbed on the bow with fully fitted cushions too. She is a wonderful and reliable example of the Botnia Targa 32 and has never given me any trouble. I have handled her single handedly many times when my daughter was young. I could safely install my daughter inside and still manage to get all around the decks confidently with the added advantage of the flybridge for coming in and out of a berth.
