These Fairline Targa 34s are arguably the most popular two cabin British sports cruiser ever made. The years have been kind to the T34 and she still looks modern, classy, elegant & purposeful. Running on a sweet Bernard Olesinski deep vee hull, they are fast, sea-kindly and have a superb 2-level cockpit, which is both super sociable and very practical. BELLA is a much-upgraded Fairline Targa 34 built in April 2001 and is fitted with twin Volvo Penta KAD44P EDC (260hp) diesels, complete with bowthruster, autopilot and a modern nav. suite.

Notable upgrades to her specification include a recent Raymarine Axiom 9” colour MFD (with paired Quantum radar), recent Lowrance DSC VHF radio, Eberspacher diesel cabin heating, teak-laid cockpit and bathing platform, davits, replacement windlass and a Fusion marine audio system. Her engines and outdrives have been fully overhauled and serviced prior to the 2023 season (with receipts being available). She has also had much improvement – with re-trimmed interior carpets, Mocha interior leather fitted in 2021, 2017 cockpit upholstery in hard-wearing tan Silvertex, 2020 foredeck cushions and smart new blue canvas 2-part canopies in 2020. Twin 260s will push her toward the mid-thirties, she is comfortable cruising at 25 knots and well within herself at that speed, so she will clock up fast passage times offshore to get you comfortably to your destination.

With a well-built Maple-lined interior centred on a leather-trimmed, family-sized sofa, the 34s practical 2-cabin layout can actually sleep six with a simple drop of the saloon table. The aft cabin slots two single berths under the cockpit, but affords three opening port-lights, a good hanging locker and a small sofa to dress on. Up forward, the offset double berth is a neat solution to creating a sense of space and again this cabin has good storage, a hanging locker, its own TV, is trimmed in blond Alcantara and gloss Maple. The heads/shower sports an electric Tecma WC on a teak plinth, with a proper shower and the galley’s modest proportions still allow a Smev gas oven, 2-burner hob, Dometic fridge and a sink. This is a true pocket cruiser with a great pedigree, and has been a staple feature of many boating careers.

My family and I have loved owning BELLA for the time we have, the space and accommodation are second to none for the size of boat. Long weekends or just days out we have found BELLA to be extremely accommodating. We have also been pleased with the speed of cruising Vs economy of running her. Only selling due to change of family circumstances.
