Broker’s Comments

The Grand Soleil 58 typifies the best of Italian design and build. From the slippery and sleek lines from FELCI, to the contemporary and welcoming Nauta interior, she emits style from every direction.

The new genre of powerful aft sections, coupled with a modest displacement offers a superb sailing experience, and as a side effect increases interior volume just where you need it, laterally to make the aft cabins feel much more spacious, the berths wider and does allow a more flexible layout option when splitting a double into twin berths.

Hull windows give plenty of light and a careful choice of fabrics and finish gives a very bright, open and airy feel.

ALCOHUAZ is a highly upgraded version of this range of yachts. She has a deeper stainless keel, with lead bulb, and coupled with a Carbon Southern Spars mast and boom, with Future Fibres incredible EC3 standing rigging has increased the righting moment significantly from the standard yacht. Benefits of this are easily apparent when sailing, by reefing much later, more control while reaching and overall a sportier feeling, which can easily be tamed if you wish. While at anchor, lowering the centre of gravity by a significant amount plants the yacht to the sea, for much more comfortable lunch stops and less movement at night.

Her layout is a little unconventional, in that she has a hybrid of the 3 and 4 cabin standard layouts.

In the forward end of the yacht, the main cabin and owners suite is forward of the mast, with the berth to port and the heads forward, the best use of space for the volume of the yacht. As per the aft sections of the yacht, the high volume of the hull gives plenty of space and the cabin feels bright and airy due to carefully selected textures and colours and the clever use of light.

At the very forward end of the yacht, there is a clever captain’s cabin, with a high quality fit out and its own heads and impressively a shower unit as well.

Upgrades are everywhere for this yacht, from the engine to the winch package, to the skippers cabin in the bow, and galley surfaces.

Truly a quite incredible mini superyacht.
