In short, the Hallberg-Rassy 62 is one of the most suitable yachts of this size for bluewater cruising. A perfect yacht for those who appreciate superb comfort and good sailing performance at sea. The Hallberg-Rassy 62 is designed to be easy to handle, with push buttons located at the helm station allowing one person to set, reef and control the sails and lift and set the anchor. A total of 25 yachts have been delivered from the yard in Ellös, Sweden, located only 15 minutes’ drive from the Berthon Scandinavia office in Henån. The Hallberg-Rassy 62 was awarded “Yacht of the Year” in the +50 foot category.

Hallberg-Rassy 62 STRAYER VI spent her first years on the west side of the Atlantic where she cruised the USA and Caribbean. Her current owner bought her in 2008 and brought her back to Scandinavia. Since then, STRAYER VI has had a number of updates and has been used for family sailing in Scandinavia during summertime.

Directly at the entrance you will find the navigation to PT and the galley to SB. Walking aft you will pass the walk-in engine room and further aft is the owner’s aft cabin with en suite heads/shower. In front of the saloon, equipped with a u- shaped sofa to PT and two very comfortable chairs to SB, are three guest cabins, all with separate heads/shower. The amount of storage on board is amazing and really useful for long term sailing in remote areas where you need to bring a lot of equipment, tools, food and drinks.
