Broker’s Comments

Just by glancing at the Hardy Commodore 36 you are aware that this is a steadfast and seaworthy vessel. The semi displacement hull, tall sharp bow profile and high bulwarks, offer well documented sea-keeping qualities. Sliding doors both port and starboard provide prime access onto the wide teaked side decks, with generous stainless steel guardrails giving you that security needed when out on deck. Being on conventional twin shafts, with rudders, allows for fantastic manoeuvrability and with the added bow thruster mooring the Hardy 36 can be managed by a couple or for single handedly by the more experienced. The twin Yanmar diesel engines are both reliable and efficient. A cruising speed of 14 knots will give you an estimated burn rate of around 4L per nautical mile.

Step inside MAIA G and it is evident that she has been well cared for in the current 10 year ownership. The blue Alcantara upholstery is in good order, along with the joinery, which shows no obvious signs of sun damage which is thanks to the covers that come with the boat. The interior layout is a big selling point of the Hardy 36. The forward V berth converts to a double and has access to a separate head with shower. The aft cabin has a large double and has its own en-suite, which means when cruising with friends you have the privacy of being at adjacent ends of the boat. There are lots of clever features throughout the hand built interior that will make you smile, including the foldout double navigators seat and well placed handrails by the stairwells.

MAIA G poses as a fantastic opportunity to own a manageable go-anywhere motor yacht, from a renowned British boat builder. The 36 is and will always be popular with a large pool of clients, thanks to its charming good looks, popular size and seakeeping capability. Turnkey and ready to take you on the next adventure.
