Broker’s Comments

SOFT is a beautiful example of the Swan 54, in top condition and ready for a new owner to enjoy.

Externally she has a carbon rig and Park Av style boom. The headsail is on a manual furler with the line lead aft under deck to the helm. With electric sheet winches, a well-planned deck layout, 110hp engine and her bow and stern thruster she is easily handled under sail or in port.

Hull stripes are in black (rather than standard blue). She also features light “off-white” colour caulking – which is easy on the eye and easy to walk on in summer! Further upgrades include a sun awning and a bimini for protection from the sun. A carbon gangway was added for easy Med boarding.

Below decks she is pristine – virtually “as new” and sports renewed cabin sole flooring throughout that is light weight and very attractive. SOFT has the four-cabin layout – owner forward, a double VIP cabin to port, and two cabins aft (one double and one single). The saloon upholstery has new covers made in 2021. The upholstery in the cockpit was newly custom made and with new covers, as well.

VAT was paid on the vessel by her first owner. SOFT is on Swedish flag.

Owner’s Comments

SOFT is an extremely easily managed boat and can be sailed with only two persons on board. She is excellent for longer trips as well as just a day out on the Palma Bay. We have maintained her to the highest standard and she is a real gem. Unfortunately, time is a big constraint, and our current lifestyle does not give us enough time to spend on board and we have therefore reached the sad conclusion that we will put her up for sale.

Since buying the vessel early in 2021, we have made the following upgrades and works:

Maintenance:

• Antifouling.
• Service of engine and genset.
• Polish of the hull.
• Service and maintenance of the sails.
• Light sanding of the teak deck.

Upgrades:

• Added a stern thruster (she did not have one).
• New Bimini.
• New start batteries for engine.
• New start battery for Genset.
• New interior floor panels.
• New interior upholstery covers in linen (original upholstery underneath).
• New cockpit upholstery in Sunbrella.
• New running rigging to the foresail.
• Revarnish and rebuild of the table in cockpit.
• New carbon fibre passarelle.
• AIS upgrade installed.

Ordered (not yet delivered as at 1-7-22):

• New freshwater pump.
• New stainless steel anchor chain 100m.
