Broker’s Comments

From 2011 the Solaris One 44 is one of the founding members of the current Solaris Yacht range. The Solaris One 44 was well received and has proven to be a sure footed and powerful performance cruiser.

One of the outstanding features on the Solaris range is the uncompromising approach to the strength of build as itemised below in the construction notes. Her powerful rig sporting some Hyde Sails is easily managed with well laid out deck gear and winches, the halyard winch being electric. Electronics are primarily Raymarine but she also has a number of Garmin displays at the mast.

Below deck there are three double cabins, two heads, forward facing navigation area and an ample L-shaped galley. ALCIBIADES III is a good looking example with her light grey topsides and full teak decks. Well sailed but well maintained in her current ownership, she has both raced and cruised.

During 2019, the owner grouped a team of friends together to compete in the Rolex Fastnet Race and subsequently had the yacht equipped with no expense spared. There is no doubt that over the years, this vessel has been the catalyst to exciting adventures and enriching friendships.

Owner’s Comments

This was my first Solaris and she has impressed me enormously. Everyone who sailed with me has remarked on how lovely and how quick she is. We have had considerable success around the cans along with some fantastic family cruises.

I am very much looking forward to my next Solaris. The Solaris One 44 is a beautifully elegant, high performance racing cruiser that has delivered on every level. On purchase she exceeded expectations during the first voyage back from Europe and continued to deliver thereafter, whether cruising in style with family and friends along the South Coast or racing competitively in the Solent.
