The Sunseeker Camargue 50 is a touchstone for exhilarating performance, luxurious finish and engineering excellence. This well-maintained 2002 example is beautifully presented – with a new hull wrap, rich high-gloss cherry interior joinery, a huge sunseeking cockpit, and reliable twin Caterpillar 660HP diesels supplying the grunt.

She is delightfully practical, fully serviced up, runs like clockwork and can turn her hand to many roles. Fitted with heating, air-conditioning, upgrade generator, passarelle and capacious dinghy garage – we think she gives a huge amount of bang for the buck, and has evidently served her current Owners particularly well.

Owner’s Comments

ABRAXAS was purchased by us from its second owners in 2015. She is being sold with great reluctance owing to our retirement.

We entrusted the management and operation of the boat to Black Yacht Racing Ltd (James Heald) who has, with the assistance of Berthon boatyard, maintained the boat to the highest standards – with fire extinguishers, life-raft, engines, hull etc. all receiving the appropriate maintenance at the appropriate time. As a result, she has proved to be entirely reliable and luxurious leisure transport for us over 7 years (150 hours) of boating.

ABRAXAS attracts admiring attention from all those around, with classical lines and colouring. She is supremely comfortable and roomy for our guests and has been used primarily for day/weekend trips within the Solent when the dingy and kayak we stored within its garage saw much use. She has also been used for occasional trips further afield. In July of 2022, she was taken to Falmouth and back over a period of 10 days and again proved to be entirely comfortable, reliable and safe.

We are convinced Abraxas will continue to be an exceptionally good boat to own for many years ahead, and are somewhat envious of its new owner-to-be.
