Broker’s Comments

Anyone who knows me will be well aware of my deep fondness for Sweden yachts, the Sweden Yachts 42 and the 45 in particular. It’s not that often a yacht comes along that ticks so many boxes and does it so well. A good looking yacht that sails well across all conditions, the deck layout renders her powerful sail plan easy to handle by a couple. Below decks quality of finish on the cabinetry and level of creature comfort exceeds expectations for a yacht of this size.

DIZZY DI is a particularly good example and a yacht I know well having sold her to the current and previous owners. Both experienced sailors, the yacht has definitely enjoyed above average care. The Sweden is fundamentally a good starting point and with the level of care and continuous update that DIZZY DI has received, she continues to provide good service for many years to come.

Comprehensively equipped for Mediterranean and bluewater cruising, good sail wardrobe, electronics, generator and watermaker, there is little to add. She will prove to be a popular listing!

Owner’s Comments

We purchased DIZZY DI in early 2016, inheriting a boat that had been very well maintained and regularly used.

With the furlerboom, my wife was immediately taken with the ability to sail the boat without leaving the cockpit. In combination with electric winches, she is perfect for short-handed sailing.

We upgraded DIZZY DI for long distance cruising which took us up to St Petersburg in 2017 and into the Mediterranean in 2020. We have thoroughly enjoyed sailing her over 15,000 miles during the last 6 years. Most of the time we sailed two up through all weathers. She looks after us well and sails beautifully, almost always leaving boats of similar size behind.

We have fastidiously maintained DIZZY DI throughout our ownership and have a full record of all upgrades and maintenance. Currently stored ashore in Montenegro she is ready for immediate use upon relaunch.
