Recently refit Tyker Class 40, built by FR Nautisme and designed by Julien Marin in 2006. This early example of the class perfectly represents a low-priced entry-level boat for class racing, or her buyer could add a few creature comforts and enjoy for fast adventure cruising. Lovingly cared for by her owner who is a professional yachtsman, IMPULSE has received numerous upgrades through his ten years of ownership. She comes with many items of new equipment, rod rigging replaced in 2021, a brand-new mainsail, and recent jib with little miles on all.

Of the earlier designs, Julien Marin was ahead of his time in terms of cockpit protection and ergonomics. The cockpit has comfortable seating which is well protected by a large hard dodger extending aft from dual companionways. The cockpit is laid out with all control lines easily within reach, making solo maneuvers a breeze.

A proven performer when launched, this boat offers exciting all-round performance against more recent designs. All delivered in a cleanly restored, meticulously assembled, turnkey package.
