The Windy 32 Scirocco is a sublime piece of design and craftsmanship from Windy Boats AS. The Hans J. Johnsen hull is forgiving in a seaway, yet precise, easily driven and immensely strong – giving the driver great control and confidence in the ability of this beautiful sports-cruiser.

This Open version gives exhilarating wind-in-the-hair performance, and is in her second ownership from new. She has a sparkling blue hull and off white vinyl cockpit upholstery to set off the teak cockpit sole and side decks.

STARGATE has been used as a Solent day boat, with continual improvements and modernisations by her current (second) owners. The 32 Open was rated as the ‘Best UK Drivers Boat’ by Motor Boats Monthly, amongst stiff competition, and is every inch a modern thoroughbred. She shows superbly and is in stunning condition, with beautiful interior joinery, immaculate exterior upholstery, and much more!

The 32 Scirocco is an evergreen cruising sports boat. She is long-legged enough for relaxed Channel cruising, with a fine hull for soft passage making even in more challenging conditions. Being born and bred in Norway, she is built to the highest standards and is highly versatile on the water, which translates into a low stress ownership experience and pleasurable power-boating.

She was very thoughtfully specified at build and her inventory includes desirable bow thruster, electric windlass, chart plotter, teak, blue hull stripe and upholstery upgrade.

Owner’s Comments

We purchased STARGATE in Southern Spain in 2016 and motored her up the coast and then over to Ibiza. She behaved magnificently and after a short layover, we continued on to Mallorca.

Crossing the Mediterranean out of sight of land was a new and exciting experience for us. She spent 3 years in Mallorca cruising to Menorca and the local beaches for two months each year.

We then decided to bring her back to Blighty through the french canals. The 4.7 mile tunnel and 70 foot locks were truly something to see and the people we met, so friendly and helpful.

For the past few years she has been cruising locally in the Solent from the Portsmouth Drystack, we will be very sad to see her go.
