The Windy SR52 Blackbird is a hugely capable, sleek, robust and fun chase boat. With her three IPS 600 engines, she boasts a top speed of about 45kts depending on conditions, and over 600nm range at a cruising speed of 30kts. She is easily managed shorthanded thanks to the Joystick docking system and the Dynamic positioning system, which automatically hold the yacht´s position and heading.

The quality from Windy is exceptional, with a custom lacquered hull and top sides, and everywhere the typical Scandinavian attention to detail. She combines the renowned design flair from Dubois with the superb build-quality, production capability and performance of the Windy brand.

The specification of MERRICK includes the full height windscreen configuration, which provides extra protection offshore, and the extended T-top roof. The helm has been upgraded with triple Volvo glass cockpit screens, which interface the navigation and controls.

Her layout includes an air conditioned double crew cabin and shower compartment. The accommodation has been upgraded in a black lacquered finish.

The cockpit was specifically designed to work effectively as both a chase boat and limo tender. A special canvas system was designed to quickly draw up from the t-top pillars and protect guests.

The cockpit is fully teak laid, with a large lazarette forwards, first class helm position and custom u-shaped sofa design, to maximise available seating for guests.
