Andrew Fairbrass and his highly skilled team enjoy tending the yachts under their guardiennage care. They are passionate about their work and take great pride in ensuring their charges are turn-key ready and glitch free for their owners to enjoy. King Marine Dixon 73, LA LUNA – Joins as this December 2018
We are really excited about this newest addition in our care in time for Christmas. LA LUNA has just been delivered to us Monafalcone in Italy. She has sailed down the Adriatic Sea, round the boot of Italy and across the Mediterranean to join us here in Palma. Now that she is with us, our guardiennage team are giving LA LUNA special treatment and lots of TLC. We look forward to giving you updates on this beautiful yacht. Oyster 55, SHEARWATER – Under our care since November 2014
In need of a lot love when we first started looking after her 4 years ago, the engine and generator were in desperate need of servicing. The skin fittings were all seized, her interior looked very tired and the teak deck was less than prime. Since then we have slowly restored her. The decks have been replaced and we added a wooden toerail in place of the original, corroded aluminium one.
The interior has been painstakingly restored; both woodwork and upholstery. She has a new passerelle and tender, new fridges, new paintwork in lots of places, new pumps and this winter we are finishing things off with a brand new engine and generator. She performed beautifully this year at the Oyster regatta with Andrew aboard and she is not only the owner’s pride and joy but also ours!

Gunfleet 58, AMITIE – Under our care since August 2017
AMITIE is a great example of the Gunfleet 58. Her owner is fastidious which makes him a perfect match for us. Without any exaggeration we have worked on this yacht from the tip of the centreboard to the truck of the mast. She gleams inside and out and we can’t think of a system aboard her that has not been re-fitted or replaced.
Gunfleets are always a pleasure to work on as the build quality is exceptional and the finish is of a massively high standard. We are lucky enough to have worked on all the 58’s passing through Palma and we have AMITIE and a sister with us for extensive works this winter.

Discovery 55, KINGFISHER – Under our care since November 2015
KINGFISHER is another firm favourite. With exceptional build quality from Discovery and immaculate care from us over the years she is now ready and waiting for her owner to retire and embark upon his round the world voyage aboard her. Like most of our clients he is fanatical about detail and there is nothing on board that doesn’t work properly or look like new. When KINGFISHER sets sail we will be sad to see them go but look forward to hearing about all their adventures.

Oyster 655, BLUE HORIZON -– Under our care since 2014
Andrew used to captain BLUE HORIZON when she was chartering in the Balearics and has been involved with the yacht for nearly 5 years. She is a shining example of the 655, her owner has lavished her with attention, as have we. We have sorted the decks out, removed and serviced the rig, replaced all of the sea valves, carried out major service work on the engine and generator, installed a new tender and much more.
She is about to go through the Berthon winter care programme to ensure that she is tip top for the 2019 season
24M Cyrus Superyacht, BLISS II – New to us Autumn 2018
Epic design by Cyrus yachts, she is a recent addition to the Berthon Spain fleet. We are tasked with preparing the yacht for sale. At 24m she is packed with technology and there is a lot to keep our guardiennage team busy. Her owner is passionate about her and was heavily involved with the design and build process. She sails like a dream and with hydraulics and electrics everywhere she is super easy to control from the helm
Princess 60, SANGRIA –– Under our care since April 2016
We have looked after SANGRIA since her owner bought her in 2016 and have helped work through the warranty issues and preparation of the yacht for charter with him. The coding process was very in-depth and we are pleased to say that the owner made money out of the chartering in the first years despite a late start. A sale is now planned to make way for a large catamaran and we are looking forward to the new project!
Sunseeker Manahttan, MIDNIGHT SUMMER DREAM – Under our care from April 2018
When we met the owner of MIDNIGHT SUMMER DREAM she did not look her best and she was in a terrible state of mechanical disrepair. Our first job was to lift her and we spent the next month addressing a lot of the issues. She is now back in the water and gleaming as she should. She and her owners have since enjoyed a stress free summer on board without any failures at all. We have maintenance guidelines for our owners and if these are followed during owner use, it makes for comfortable and easy cruising.
Our aim is to ensure that the Berthon fleet delivers trouble free cruising throughout the season.
