Broker’s Comments

The Nimbus T9 is one of the best day boats out there – with a great spec too. She is fitted with the ever amazing Mercury 225hp V6 outboards, finished in Cold Fusion White, capable of reaching 47 knots! She offers great deck space for when entertaining guests, forward and aft both having a great sunpad and seating areas. The wet bar is well equipped with a fridge, seperate sink and easy go portable Weber BBQ. The space Nimbus have managed to fit on this diverse craft is incredible, featuring a wide walk around deck and stainless steel grab handles where ever you look – obviously with safety in mind, however still looking sleek. Her T-Top offers great shade and comfort on those hot summer days cruising over to the Isle of Wight, France or the Channel Islands. She is more than capable of doing all of the above as even in rough conditions, her hull will take whatever the Channel will throw at her.

Owner’s Comments

This versatile, stable and safe craft has served us well. We have enjoyed every moment of owning her; however, the time has come to part ways. The engine spec was by far the superior choice, not only for the safety aspect of having a twin set up but having a little more weight and having the power that brings her into the high 40s – which is rather fun. Saying this, she is equally as enjoyable sat at 32 knots when cruising. We have had some very fun days on the Nimbus and I’m sure who ever she goes to next will have some serious fun too.

Builder/Designer’s Comments

The Nimbus T9 is the first model in our new Tender series, Nimbus’ new interpretation of the popular Nova, first introduced in 1991. Since then, approximately 2,300 boats have been produced in the Nimbus Nova series, among them the highly successful 26 Nova and the prize-winning R-series that included the 230R, 250R and 300R.

The renewal of a series that has proved so successful and that is so strongly associated with Nimbus’ DNA, and brand is no easy task. This heritage has truly permeated every area and phase, from concept design, construction, functionality and appearance down to the finest details. Everyone involved has worked with the aim of making the T9 the best product conceivable and thus a worthy successor to the Nova, says Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer at Nimbus Boats Sweden.
