The Najad 361 is a successful model from the well-known Najad yard, based on the island of Orust on the Swedish west coast. A total of approximately 135 hulls were built between 1993 and 2001.

The Najad 361 features an integrated swim platform in the stern, a skeg-hung rudder, and a solidly constructed hull and deck. The well-protected centre cockpit is relatively deep, with comfortable seating, supportive backrests, and a fixed windscreen. The Najad 361 is perfectly suited for both coastal and offshore sailing.

Below deck, the yacht offers a two-cabin layout with an owner’s aft cabin and a forward guest cabin. The longitudinal galley, head, and navigation area are all conveniently located at the companionway. The interior is finished in high-quality mahogany.

RENETH was the very first Najad 361 ever built. She was designed, developed, and constructed by Najadvarvet together with her first owner and a small team of the yard’s skilled boatbuilders. As the prototype of the Najad 361 model, RENETH includes several unique details and variations compared to the later series-produced yachts.

The yacht has primarily been used for family sailing in Sweden and Scandinavia. She has seen very limited use over the past eight years, although she has been launched each spring and hauled out for winter storage every autumn. In recent years, regular maintenance has been neglected due to the owner’s declining health.

As a result, RENETH is offered as a renovation project and sold “as is.” The buyer assumes full responsibility for restoring RENETH to seaworthy condition, which is reflected in the yacht’s price.

RENETH is now looking for a handy sailor ready to bring her back to the excellent condition she deserves.
