The Hallberg-Rassy 372 was introduced in 2008 and rapidly gained popularity among both experienced owners and newcomers to the brand. Designed by German Frers, a total of 120 boats were built between 2008 and 2024. The model was developed as a performance-oriented cruiser, featuring a modern sail plan while still maintaining the high level of comfort Hallberg-Rassy is known for. The hull design differs from earlier models, with a more distinct sheer line, a finer bow entry and a flatter underwater profile, all contributing to improved sailing characteristics. This successful design was proven early on, with the boat winning its class in the renowned Tjörn Runt race and later receiving the European Yacht of the Year award in the Luxury Cruiser category in 2010.
On deck, the Hallberg-Rassy 372 has a clean and elegant layout. The halyards are led beneath the deck structure and the cockpit is well sheltered behind a fixed windscreen. From the helm, sail handling is efficient and straightforward, with easy access to both the mainsheet track and the winches. The cockpit itself is spacious and the convenient access to the swim platform is a valued feature for those on board. Five flush-mounted deck hatches, along with opening portlights, provide plenty of natural light below deck and ensure excellent ventilation.
The interior reflects Hallberg-Rassy’s reputation for maximizing space and comfort. The layout accommodates up to six people, with high-quality mahogany joinery throughout. In the saloon, there are two full-length settees, while both cabins offer generous double berths. The forward owner’s cabin features a V-berth, seating, storage cupboards and two wardrobes. Adjacent to the companionway is a forward-facing navigation station with ample room for charts, which also serves well as a practical workspace and the head, which is bright and well-designed, including a separate shower area with a door and a wet locker. The U-shaped galley is positioned close to the cockpit and provides ample working space, equipped with a gas stove, refrigeration, and durable composite countertops. The port aft cabin offers a wide double berth a wardrobe, cupboards and shelfs.
Hallberg-Rassy 372, RAKEL is a very well looked after yacht that has spent her life on the east coast of Sweden. The current first owner couple have sailed during the summer months and RAKEL has spent her winters on land. She is in good general condition for her age and has been continuously updated. A perfect yacht for both coastal and ocean sailing!
