Yacht Broker Required for Berthon International in Spain – We Are Expanding!

• Prior experience as a yacht broker in the Berthon market segment a requirement.
• English speaker minimum requirement. Spanish/German an advantage.
• Already residing in Mallorca or EU preferred, but not essential.
• Full time, permanent position. Salary plus commission.

Overview of Position

Berthon Spain (Head Office, Yacht Services and Yacht Sales) is located in vibrant Palma de Mallorca, the heart of the Western Mediterranean yachting scene. The Yacht Sales operation is already successfully selling brokerage yachts from 50 to 110 feet internationally – working with our team of brokers in the UK, Sweden and on the East Coast of the USA. Part of the Berthon Sales Group, we all work closely as a team and we are supported by an excellent marketing and sales support team in the UK. Our focus is to provide our brokers with the very best tools with which to sell yachts and to increase our market share.

We have an established service company – Berthon Spain (Yacht Services) – and this part of the business is also growing, with expansion to Port Ginesta in July 2026.

Berthon Spain (Yacht Sales) has a smart office overlooking Club de Mar and the bay. Berthon is committed to further developing this office, which works closely with our UK HQ, as Berthon has chosen Palma de Mallorca as its home in the Mediterranean. As part of this development, we seek a motivated and experienced Managing Yacht Broker to work with us to build this business. The successful applicant will be ambitious, hardworking and a team player, working not just in the Spanish office, but collaborating with all of Berthon’s international sales offices.

The successful candidate will work alongside the existing Berthon Spain team. The key difference in working for Berthon compared to other brokerage houses is the collegiate nature of the business, and the level of support on offer; we pride ourselves on being a big family and UK HQ is always on the end of the phone.

There is potential for serious growth in this business for the right candidate, allowing them to play a leading role in this growth, and we offer long-term career progression. We actively market our brokers as specialists and build their profile with that of Berthon.

We Provide

• Support in the office – including a CRM package, mobile phone, business cards and computer and administrative support.
• We advertise on all the normal platforms – Yatco, Yachtworld, etc. as well as having our own highly optimised .com. Brokerage yachts are advertised in the yachting press – Boat International, Yachting World, etc.
• We have an inhouse photographer and prepare particulars, moving imagery and photography in order to enhance brokers’ listings.
• We attend the major boat shows including the Palma Superyacht Show.

The person that we seek will, like us, be passionate about yachts and the yachting business.
