Broker’s Comments

The M32 catamaran delivers fast, fun, and uncomplicated regatta racing in some of the best sailing areas in the world. Miami and Lake Garda are two of the fleet’s favourites and bucket list locations. The M32 is a reasonably untechnical platform, with no foiling or upwind headsails, offering the best balance of high-octane racing for owners who have to be in the office Mon – Fri. Professionally run racing and an active class run by its owners are the secrets to its success.

In 2024, the world championship will take place in Lake Garda, where the boat is stored. This presents a suitable opportunity to engage in training for a few months and enjoy the competition, then ship to Miami for some spring sunshine in 2025.

Owner’s Comments

M32 No.22 has been owned since new by GAC/Williams Sail Racing Ltd and has been maintained throughout that time as a race boat in condition to win regattas. It has likely won more M32 One Design regattas than any other boat (with the exception of No. 16 CONVEXITY).

It underwent a full NDT inspection when new, conducted by Marine Results.

The platform was repainted royal blue at the start of the 2021 season, and the port hull was replaced for the 2022 season. The boat was not used in 2023 or in 2024 as of yet.

Due to its weight, the M32 has outstanding light air performance, making it perfect for lake sailing and distance races. It has full bows with a lot of buoyancy, allowing it to also handle rough conditions.

The M32 can be rigged and launched from a slipway or a beach, as well as by crane.
