The pedigree of Hunt Yachts design needs no introduction.
Designed and patented by Ray Hunt as “the” Deep-V hull, the 52 oozes timeless grace and ability. This rare EU model from 2010 sports a beautifully-finished Master Stateroom forward, Cherry interior joinery, tender garage and passarelle, upgraded air-conditioning and relaxed cruising thanks to her twin C-12 Caterpillars on shafts. With a shaded aft cockpit, wide teak-laid decks, and a level of finish that is second to none, the 52’s classic lines and effortless manners at sea, make her a truly usable proposition that is lusted after by yachtsmen and power-boaters alike.
“Highland Lassie” has been owned from new and doted on, spending her winters under cover, and her summers day-cruising the Mediterranean. She is maintained regardless of cost, and is presented in turn-key condition, with a specification that is sensibly customized, as only Hunt Yachts can.
Fitted with a Seakeeper gyro for stabilization under way and at rest, her hull is super-smooth through broken water, and has been the choice of commercial and professional agencies, as well as the recreational market – delivering a cushioned upwind ride with excellent natural stability at speed. Below decks she has the Inboard Arrangement: the u-shaped galley to port, facing the second cabin (ensuite & day-head/shower forward to starboard) – with Master cabin and ensuite nestled in the bow, and the forward-facing bed ensuring maximum privacy.
With a comprehensive Furuno electronics package at her console and tall windows providing outstanding visibility from the helm at every angle, the skipper and crew are spoiled, with elegant detailing, plenty of rounded profiling and stacks of comfortable seating. The wheelhouse sole leads directly out onto the aft cockpit through the glazed aft bulkhead, typical of the Express-style cruiser, and the bathing platform gives easy access to the garage (with its matching custom Hunt shell-back dinghy). This Owner asked Hunt to add a telescopic letterbox passarelle for ease of Mediterranean stern-to berthing, and specified twin thrusters with her electronic Glendinning throttles to make close-quarter handling a complete pleasure.
Current photos of “Highland Lassie” are pending her removal from winter storage.
