The Farr 56 Pilothouse is a super nice boat for those planning longer sailing trips and extended stays onboard. The yacht can be sailed by 1-2 persons and offers 4 cabins with 8 berths. It features a bright and spacious deck saloon, ample storage space both inside and on deck, excellent access to the engine, and a large aft cabin—typical characteristics of the models in the Farr Pilothouse series.
The Farr 56 Pilothouse is designed to serve various purposes, from sailing fast with the trade winds to cruising in light winds in the archipelago, while simultaneously offering comfortable accommodation. This yacht excels by providing good sailing performance and great comfort in different environments.
Farr 56 Pilothouse ZINA was delivered in 2001 to her current (first) owner. In her early years, the yacht was used for family sailing in the Mediterranean, and in later years she has been sailed in Sweden and Scandinavia.
ZINA boasts an excellent layout with four cabins, providing a total of eight berths. The deck saloon, which offers a good view and plenty of natural light, features a C-shaped sofa, a saloon table and a navigation area. The aft owner’s cabin includes a double bed with an en suite bathroom and ample storage space. The longitudinal galley is located to port at the companionway. Ahead of the mast bulkhead, there are two cabins with double beds, one with its own bathroom, and a cabin with bunk beds. The forward cabin located in the bow is furnished as a workshop.
ZINA is designed for easy handling, and she can be sailed by one person. She features a furling mast, two headsails, and six large hydraulic Andersen winches, which simplify and streamline sail handling. Additionally, the 140hp Yanmar engine and the robust Lewmar bow thruster make docking in tight harbours a piece of cake.
