This one-owner-from-new Grand Soleil 50 epitomises all that is right about the modern performance cruiser. A yacht that is easily managed by a small crew or couple, despite her powerful rig, she features a clean deck layout and below, offers a high level of creature comfort.

TRUE COLOURS is a testament to the owner’s choices at build and the impeccable maintenance since. She hasn’t been overthought, yet she has everything needed for coastal and offshore cruising: a North Sails package, Raymarine instrument suite, a well-equipped galley, and three spacious double cabins. Below decks, she’s a thoroughly enjoyable place to be.

At 50ft (15m), the yacht hits the sweet spot—large enough to be comfortable and offshore-capable, yet still manageable within marina confines and with reasonable running costs.

My wife and I purchased our first Grand Soleil back in 2003; the sailing experience and pleasure of ownership has been unbelievable throughout.

Our current yacht, the latest edition GS50 and forerunner to the latest Grand Soleil range, exemplifies the leading Italian design, build qualities and sailing experience that we love so much. From the early factory visits when the yacht was in build, we went out of our way to future proof her for two handed sailing and, wow – it sure worked for us!

Our annual West Country trips have always proved to be both relaxing and fast. TRUE COLOURS draws admirers within minutes at every port we visit. The quality of all of the fittings and incorporating the Leisure Furl Boom with

North Sails fully battened sails, all serviced by electric winches is a total joy.

We know her next owner will love her just as much as we do.
