The goal for the successful design of the Najad 355 was to create an exclusive and comfortable sailboat with excellent sailing characteristics. Like the other models in Najad’s fleet, it can be efficiently and safely handled by a small crew. The ergonomically designed and comfortable cockpit features a fixed windscreen that provides protection while also offering good visibility. The deck layout is well-thought-out, and the equipment is of top quality from bow to stern. The Najad 355 offers a fine feel at the helm and is fun to sail.

The interior is crafted with the best possible finish and fit by Najadvarvet — practical solutions combined with superb craftsmanship! A bright and spacious saloon gives you access to both a navigation station, an L-shaped galley, and a bright bathroom with a shower and wet locker. In the bow, there is a V-berth, and aft, there is a spacious double berth. Both cabins have wardrobes and ample storage space.

Najad 355, IPPON is produced with vacuum-infused epoxy technology. This production method gives this beautiful cruiser a strong and light hull and deck. She has recently been upgraded with new sails from Gran Segel and a Code 0 from North Sails. To make life easier for the helmsman, one winch is electric, and this boat can easily be operated with a small crew. For safe navigation, a modern plotter with integrated AIS has been installed, and a new sprayhood and cockpit canopy now cover the spacious cockpit. Below deck you have a fully equipped galley with microwave oven and a head with electric toilet.

Owner’s Comments

We bought IPPON in the autumn of 2022 and are currently the third proud owners. The boat was previously under Swedish ownership and has been exceptionally well cared for over the years. Every winter she has been hauled out, rigged off and protected with a fibertex winter cover. Rigging checks and stepping of the mast have always been carried out with the support of professional rigging services.

We chose the Najad 355 for its outstanding combination of performance, quality, safety and design. It brings all these elements together in an impressive way and feels like a much larger yacht, despite being just under 36 feet.
