The Najad 390 is a highly regarded model from the renowned Najad Yard on Orust – a shipyard long recognized as a symbol of quality, seaworthiness and genuine Swedish boatbuilding craftsmanship.

This model is built with meticulous attention to detail, focusing on durability, safety at sea and comfort during extended voyages. It is perfectly suited for sailors seeking a robust bluewater cruiser capable of crossing oceans with calm and dignity, while also offering a homely and inviting atmosphere below deck.

The hull is solid and reassuring, designed to provide both stability and good sailing performance. The centre cockpit is deep, well-protected and equipped with a fixed windscreen, giving a sense of security even in rough seas. From here, the helmsman has excellent visibility and easy access to winches and sheets.

Below deck, you are greeted by the classic Najad ambiance – warm, welcoming and characterised by beautiful mahogany craftsmanship. The saloon forms the heart of the yacht, featuring two sofas that can also serve as berths and an elegant saloon table. It offers ample space for long evenings filled with conversation, reading and planning the next passage.

The galley is designed with practical functionality in mind and is located along the passageway leading aft. The layout ensures secure footing while under way and every surface is crafted to withstand extended time at sea. Generous storage, twin sinks, and ample workspace are all executed with the hallmark precision of Orust-built yachts.

Owner’s Comments

We have really enjoyed sailing LYKKE in the Baltic Sea and the Swedish Archipelago. The capabilities of the yacht and the centre cockpit always gave us a feeling of safety, even in rough seas. The comfortable cabin, well-thought-out layout, high-quality craftsmanship, and extensive 2022/2023 refit carried out by the previous owner all made sailing and living on board a real pleasure.

LYKKE is in excellent condition for her age. A change of plans now means it’s time for us to let LYKKE find a new owner.
