These Nautor Swan 44s are known for their classic beautiful lines – a Sparkman and Stephens design that sets her apart from most other sailboats. This is a boat that you cannot help but notice if you are walking the docks or see her under sail.

Nautor Swan 44, ASTRID is a unique yacht as she has recently had a complete refurbishment on deck including teak decking and new spars, rigging, sails & winches. While down below, the extent of her recent refit is clear with her all new upholstery and professionally upgraded woodwork. The roomy accommodations feature a private aft stateroom that has two large quarter berths with ample storage areas. The aft stateroom has private access to the head and includes vanity and sink, toilet, shower and several storage lockers. Moving forward to port into the main cabin, there is a large hanging locker followed by the galley, complete with new double stainless sinks with hot and cold pressure water, new large top loading refrigerator, and new 3-burner gimbaled propane stove with oven.

The nav. station is to starboard with all new B&G nav. gear. There is storage under the seat, bookcase, drawers and storage under the chart table. In the saloon there are twin sofas separated by a drop leaf table with storage. Moving further forward is the forward stateroom with a hanging locker to port and a general storage locker to starboard and a spacious “V” berth with filler. There are sail storage bins under the berths. The entire interior is varnished teak with teak and holly soles, vinyl and teak overheads and LED cabin lights.

Nautor Swan 44, ASTRID is awaiting her new owners to put their personal items aboard, cast off the dock lines and set sail. She is a sound well-appointed boat that will take you there and back again in a manner that ensures you will enjoy your time on the water.

Owner’s Comments

I purchased ASTRID approximately 4 years ago as an unfinished project. The former owner had purchased her some years previously with the intention of doing a complete refurbishment. Upon completing the first stage of the project which was replacing the teak overlay deck he decided, for personal reasons, to put her up for sale.

She is now, for all practical purposes, a new yacht – having all the rigging including mast and boom, deck gear. winches, windlass replaced. Down below she has been completely rewired, replumbed, and reupholstered. All the electronics at the nav. station and in the cockpit have also been replaced, as has the engine. The hull has also been re gelled to a similar standard.

I have now decided to move onto to a larger yacht, also a Swan which thankfully, does not need refurbishment to quite the same extent.
