Broker’s Comments

This 2017 Princess 49 is in truly exceptional condition. Having had single ownership from new, she presents clean and tidy throughout. She is equipped with the Tropical air-conditioning upgrade, Seakeeper 5 gyro stabiliser, hi-lo bathing platform (complete with low-hours Williams MiniJet), a full teak package, and low indicated hours on her twin IPS-700 drivetrains.

Her interior joinery is finished in a classy Gloss Walnut, lending an opulent and cool feel throughout. She also benefits from a long, cantilevered flybridge deck with wetbar and grill, as well as a forward sunpad area for lounging.

Featuring the tried-and-tested three-cabin Princess layout, the full-beam master suite is an oasis of calm and fully appointed for comfortable life on board. With an en-suite VIP cabin in the bow and a third bunk cabin, she offers an ideal layout for family cruising. The superb saloon flows seamlessly aft through the galley to the sheltered aft cockpit.

From a driving perspective, there are two helm stations, along with the convenience of a wireless Yacht Controller for remote operation. The flybridge helm offers clear sightlines aft and to starboard, while docking cameras make close quarters handling intuitive and controlled. IPS joystick docking is also on hand for tighter berths. Both helm stations feature twin 16” Garmin displays, optimising the presentation of navigational and engine data, with twin helm seats provided at each station.

Engine access is straightforward via a hatch in the aft cockpit deck. The Volvo Penta main engines, upgraded Onan generator, and climate control systems are all neatly arranged, with the Seakeeper centrally located – allowing for a useful storage tray above.

Performance is sprightly for her 22-tonne displacement. Cruising speeds in the high twenties are readily achievable when required, with well-balanced steering and sporty, sure-footed handling, thanks to her Olesinski-designed hull.

Clearly much loved, she is presented in polished, recently-lifted condition – with bright and freshly cleaned teak. Vessels in this condition are rare, and we look forward to showing you on board.

Owner’s Comments

MIGSY 2 is a lovely family boat that we have enjoyed with friends over the years. We have cruised very comfortably along the South Coast and around the Isle of Wight, and have found her very easy to handle, thanks to her bow-thruster and joystick docking.

The Williams tender is again very simple to launch with the hi/lo platform and is great fun for towing inflatables. We have maintained her regardless of cost and have retained all paperwork. She has only run low hours due to our family time constraints, and whilst it will be a wrench to see her go, we hope her next Owners will enjoy her as we have.
