By now, most people are aware of my long-standing affection for Sweden Yachts. I love them all, but the 42 is a particular favourite. There was very little, if anything, to criticise when this yacht was launched, and this is only corroborated by their enduring popularity and strong residual values.

RHAPSODY is a sparkling example from 2003. She has enjoyed the care of two very experienced and hands-on owners, and it shows in abundance. In summary, the Sweden 42 is a timelessly classic-looking yacht with above-average cruising performance, a super-easily managed sail plan, and the height of luxury below deck. She boasts a roomy three-cabin layout, an ample, well-appointed galley, a forward-facing navigation table, and a cosy saloon to port. A host of recent updates—not least of which is a fine set of North Sails—means she is ready to go.

Owner’s Comments

RHAPSODY is the finest boat we have owned in over 50 years of sailing — safe, fast, and exceptionally comfortable. With the new North Norlam sails, her performance is even better. We shall miss her greatly, and she is offered for sale only due to the advancing age of her owners
