GEORGIA is a fantastic example of the Southerly 110. Owned by one careful owner since new, she has been meticulously maintained with many upgrades over the years.

With an excellent layout below and new upholstery complementing the stunning wooden finish, she looks every bit as impressive on the inside as she does on the outside. Her deep draft allows for excellent offshore cruising performance, while the shallow draft option makes her ideal for coastal and inland cruising. She truly is a wonderfully versatile yacht.

Owner’s Comments

GEORGIA was purchased new by us, and several upgrades to the original specification were made, including items such as a larger engine, upgraded winches, Harken roller bearing blocks, a fully battened mainsail, and our own choice of sails from Sanders Sails.

Since new, GEORGIA has been stored ashore every year for six months during late autumn and winter. During these periods she has been kept either under cover or with her own overall cover fitted. When laying up ashore, the engine was serviced, with oil and filters changed, and the engine flushed through with fresh water before being left with antifreeze in the raw water system.

All items are taken off and stored in a dry environment at home. All running rigging is removed, washed, and stored, and the sails are taken to Sanders Sails for laundering, checking, and storage over the winter. All bilges are checked and cleaned, and the engine box removed for inspection, etc.

We have kept copies of bills showing the numerous items that have been renewed or replaced over the years, confirming just how well GEORGIA has been maintained and demonstrating that she is unique amongst Southerly 110s on the market.
