The Minor Offshore 27 is a Finnish built all weather cruiser known for its solid craftsmanship and excellent seakeeping. With a deep V hull, wide side decks and a secure walkaround layout, it delivers smooth and predictable handling even in rough Nordic conditions. Built for serious year-round use, it is the perfect boat for island residents who need reliable transport in all seasons, or for those seeking a capable and comfortable workboat. At the same time, it is equally suited for coastal passages and weekend cruising with family or friends.
The wheelhouse provides excellent protection and visibility, with twin sliding doors for easy deck access and a large sliding roof hatch that brings in light and fresh air. Inside, the teak finished interior, shock absorbing seats and efficient heating system, combining both diesel heater and engine-based circuit with defroster, ensure comfort in all conditions. The boat is equipped with hot water and facilities for simple onboard cooking, making it practical for extended weekends or year-round use.
Minor Offshore 27, ELEPHANTEN has been well maintained and thoughtfully upgraded, featuring the most powerful engine option available for this model, new stainless-steel propellers, radar, a powerful LED light bar and an inverter for independent power supply. This version also benefits from a larger foredeck area, providing extra working space and easier access when mooring or loading gear, which is appreciated by those using the boat actively throughout the year.
Built with the practical robustness typical of Nordic design, the Minor Offshore 27 has proven its capability through testing in rough offshore conditions, maintaining stability and control even in high seas. Its solid construction and dependable systems make it a trustworthy companion in all weather, ideal for those who value safety, performance and true all-season functionalities.
ELEPHANTEN is a wonderfully safe and pleasant boat with plenty of power when needed, and with truly beautiful lines.
She has never let us down, regardless of weather or season, and has worked equally well for carrying heavy loads as for holidays and leisure trips. On one occasion, four adults stayed overnight on board without problem. Unfortunately, we have not been able to make full use of her potential as often as we had hoped. The upside is that the upholstery and cushions are still virtually in as-new condition.
ELEPHANTEN has been serviced with great care every year, with all oils and filters replaced regardless of engine hours.
It has been a source of great pride and joy to own ELEPHANTEN, and we hope her next owner will cherish and care for her as much as we have.
