At time of writing, with 18,385,118 minutes watched cumulatively, and 3,919,568 individual views, YouTube has become an integral part of our marketing package. This week we are shining a light on some of our audience’s all-time favorites (now all sold), which were well circulated at time of listing, and have only gone on to break all expectations in terms of viewership, since these yachts changed hands.
As we approach 2020, and the end of a particularly brokerage themed decade for this ‘Listings Manager’, I am very proud of the steps Berthon has taken to accommodate video as part of its marketing efforts. We are lucky to have a full-time professional camera operator – Harry Shutler, on our team. He works for the Berthon Boat Company and has the skill to take fantastic shots and importantly, to edit the film taken, which is not always a straight forward process. He has also displayed a decidedly large amount of patience in training our brokers in the ways of tricky camera work, which is key in rolling out a professional video ‘production package’ to each of our international offices (Berthon France, Scandinavia, Spain and the USA). This leaves me to happily confirm that, although it is kind of a given at this point, you will no doubt be seeing more of us next year.
