We think the last word in classic ocean cruising. Let us introduce you to the Bestevaer 60C, LAST CHAPTER – from 2000, designed by Gerard Dijkstra and crafted by K&M Yacht builders! For sale and now on film. Price reduced 29-09-2020. Asking £395,000 VAT paid.
Constructed in aluminium, as only the Dutch can, with twin rudders and hydraulic keel. She is built for crossing oceans and exploring when you get to your destination. With her recent flag blue topsides she gleams. With her raised bulwark, stainless guard rails deep and well-protected cockpit the deck is about as safe and secure as it gets.
With twin headsail rig, with conventional main sails, all handled by her hydraulic winch package – she is the definition of an easily managed yacht. Fully equipped for long distance adventures with generator, watermaker and air conditioning and a full complement of navigation electronics’ and communications equipment.
Below decks, she is finished in rich solid teak and teak veneers, T and G painted deck head and varnished deck beams. The upholstery is a combination blue leather in the pilothouse and patterned fabric in the saloon and blue fabric in owner’s and guest cabins. She is the ultimate in charm and comfort.
Her deckhouse is of particular merit offering comfort and great visibility to crew and guests alike. The cosy lower saloon set to port with a large and well-equipped U-shaped galley to starboard makes for a very sociable space.
Large offset double berth forward for the owner, which is of course en-suite. Aft there is a larger double cabin on port with a large WC and shower on starboard (with separate shower stall). The yacht also offers and number of additional double/single berths.
Bestevaer 60C, LAST CHAPTER recently sailed back from Croatia during the summer of 2020. She can now be viewed by appointment on her mooring just outside Plymouth, UK.
