She comes with twin generators and a powerful power pack for managing sailing systems and her epic transom door, which provides storage and the ability to board the yacht in adverse as well as clement conditions.
She has a powerful ketch rig with a new North mainsail this year and a full wardrobe of upwind and downwind sails.
Her cockpit is deep and is a secure place for passage making, as well as being very comfortable for alfresco eating and a relaxed glass of wine.
Below decks, the joinery is as you would expect from Pendennis. It is executed in honey teak with teak and holly sole boards and is all floated to insulate the accommodation from noise and vibration. The deck saloon gives excellent vision for offshore watch keeping as well as offering a light and airy place for on board living with its comfortable leather seating. The galley is forward to this and is a practical place for cooking in all sea conditions. Forward of this are 2 twin cabin guest cabins and a crew cabin forward to this with 2 good sets of heads.
Aft is the navigation station. CELTIC SPIRIT is equipped with an updated suite of electronics and full communications. Opposite this is found the work room and then through a watertight bulkhead, you find the engine room which is white with carpet on the floors and great access to engines, generators and other services.
Behind the nav. table is a single berthed cabin and the owners stateroom which is aft is charming, with a large berth, sofa, ample storage and a large heads compartment. Lights floods in.
CELTIC SPIRIT has been updated through life and ownerships with large refits both at her build yard and at Berthon. Latterly she has been updated in the Mediterranean where she has spent this summer and where she will overwinter 2018.
In this ownership she has sailed around 100,000 nautical miles and she is ready for much more…
This extraordinary yacht, launched as BEAGLE, is now offered for sale for £699,500 and she has paid her VAT.
