History of Hallberg-Rassy 44, PIPSY JO
PIPSY JO’s current owners purchased her new in 2018 and specified her to be a comfortable category A ocean yacht that could be easily managed by them as a couple. They sailed her back from Sweden, and she has since been lightly sailed for trips around the UK South Coast form her base in the Solent. Her onboard systems, including the generator and air conditioning, have seen minimal usage and she has been professionally maintained to a very high standard throughout her life.

Down below, PIPSY JO feels as new throughout and has a tastefully furnished interior with ambient lighting and light upholstery.
Her practical interior can sleep up to six crew and comprises of a forward v-birth, separated third cabin with bunks and large master cabin aft with a double bed and en-suite.
In the saloon, there are two sofas to port and starboard, plenty of storage and a retractable 32-inch TV.
The popular linear galley offers lots of cooking space and clever storage features. She is finished in mahogany with large portlights and opening hatches. The contemporary styling is flooded with natural light by day and complimented with LED lighting by night.
The centre cockpit position gives protection and safety to the crew when needed with all sail controls operated from the helms position. The powerful three-spreader mast provides plenty of speed and her Elvström electric in-mast sail and electric furling genoa allow easy sail handling with all lines leading into the cockpit for shorthanded sailing.
For docking, the bow and stern thrusters are perfect for manoeuvring by a small crew even in tight marinas.
