Built by Horizon in 2005, she was shipped to Europe, and then thanks to her modest fuel consumption and big tankage she cruised through the Mediterranean to the Balearics where she had her first home. This yacht has 4 double cabins each with ensuite and her high gloss joinery looks the business. Powered by 1,000 hp Caterpillars she can roar around at semi-displacement speed or alternatively she runs on fumes at displacement speeds.
She came back to Berthon the lazy way – she just sat back and enjoyed the ride – aboard a ship which brought her to Southampton. She had been very little used whilst in Mallorca, and was not looking her best. On arrival the `Wash and Brush up’ department at Berthon gave her the treatment so that she could join the Berthon fleet of yachts for sale. Work done at the time included –
• The works on cleaning inside and out, including soft furnishings and the use of an awful lot of elbow grease. We also completely cleaned the decks and polished both hull and superstructure.
• We also took the opportunity to service her main engines as well as properly laying up the refrigeration, air con, plumbing, and testing and fettling the batteries.
She now awaits her new owners who will have the confidence that her main systems have all been checked and dealt with so that they can focus on those updates and changes that will make the yacht truly theirs and sorted out for their usage.
To add to her appeal, the price is now encouragingly modest at only £550,000 + VAT – at that price, can you really afford to go home without her..?
