From 2016, SAFIYA is #35 of this successful bluewater cruising yacht from Oyster. She has a lovely Grau Beige gelcoat livery and she was built to sail around the world with the Oyster World Rally, which she did very successfully.
Her current owner bought her whilst in the Mediterranean. He cruised her around the Balearics before bringing her back to the UK. She is now VAT paid in both the EU and the UK, so her new owner can decide which is their preference.
Have a look at her walk through video here:
In this ownership, SAFIYA has been substantially updated. She has a skipper aboard and in 2023 she was coded to MCA category 2 so that the owner could charter her if he wished.
Her batteries have been uprated to 4 x 180Ah Mastervolt lithium ion batteries for the house banks.
She also hasa Mastervolt 24V/2500W MASS sine wave inverter.
She has a Mastervolt 24V/1500W (220V) inverter for power to icemaker and VSAT.
She has Twin alternators. One 12V alternator to charge the engine start batteries. The second unit is a Mastervolt 110A/24V alternator that charges the domestic batteries via a Mastervolt Alpha Pro 3-stage regulator.
In addition she has HST broadband.
She runs on Raymarine i70.
All SAFIYA’s systems have been fully serviced and updated including a rig check in 2023 and she is in full cruising trim.
