Sly 47 – NEVERALONE

Splashed 2011 to designs by Studio Lostuzzi and built by the chaps and chappesses at Sly. Carbon composite construction, this is Italian styling at its best, and she really does look cool to the point of freezing.

Despite the mean looks you still get teak decks, and interior and most of the creature comforts. With Onesail Millennium sails, most of the kit and caboodle is barely out of the box and she asks £325,000. She is en-route to sunny Palma de Mallorca, below is a video from the 2014 ARC.

Club Swan 42-034 – BREVITY

From 2007, smart racer cruiser as only Nautor do it best, with smart blue livery and masses and masses of cloth. Professionally maintained, she gleams from absolutely every angle and belongs to a very exclusive club of Swan One Design yachts offering spectacular sailing both sides of the pond.

A performance weapon from 2008, she is ready for the new rules with carbon rigging, and still very much in the chocolates.

Built by BMW Oracle, she is optimised for IRC and ORC.

2013 – World Champion in ORC

2014 – uber competitive in the Super Series and a winner in IRC

With such an incredible pedigree, she is possibly the best race yacht of her size currently available, she is lying in Valencia and asks €450,000 which with a falling €uro is not so much for this much fire power….
