Many of the Berthon team have first-hand ocean sailing experience and some have also participated in WCC rallies. They will be on hand to offer clear, practical guidance on preparing for extended passages and choosing a suitable yacht. World Cruising Club Rallies & Planning Atlantic Crossings

The World Cruising Club is renowned for organising rallies across many seas and oceans, providing cruising sailors with a unique balance of independence and support. These events enable participants to explore far-flung destinations with the reassurance of a like-minded community sailing alongside them. Their flagship rally is the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), which departs Las Palmas each November bound for Saint Lucia.

Whether you are seriously planning your first offshore passage or simply curious about what such an adventure might entail, The Bluewater Day is the perfect introduction. Visitors can meet experienced skippers, attend engaging talks and Q&A sessions, step aboard a range of capable cruising yachts, discover the latest equipment, and take a closer look at Berthon’s impressive facilities.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to step aboard a selection of bluewater-ready yachts currently for sale with Berthon. Visitors can explore the latest cruising equipment, as well as enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Berthon’s refit facility in the big blue sheds. Expect a lively, welcoming atmosphere where stories are shared, advice is freely given, and inspiration comes naturally from those who have already set sail.
