Solaris 68 RS

Much like her smaller sister ship, the Solaris 68 RS represents an extremely innovative yacht in the performance bluewater cruising world, featuring a raised saloon with 360-degree windows for better panoramic views and a forward full galley adjacent to the saloon. A spacious bright and social space ideal for entertaining. With the raised saloon you have have the added benefit of a central engine room also housing the yachts services. The increase in size however does undoubtedly add to her comfort, capability and offers a greater flexibility with the interior layouts the addition of a fourth cabin offering potential of accommodating up to eight guests or six with crew.

The sail handling area of the cockpit features a central plinth dedicated to the mainsheet and two side winches control lines are located within easy reach of the helm and the signature self-tacking jib makes her easily handled. Combined with the performance lines of the hull and twin rudders the yacht delivers sure footed and efficient passage making while remaining light and responsive on the helm.

The modern hull lines sport a wide stern with twin rudders and subtle dreadnought bow. The “T”-shaped keel offers two fixed draught options plus a lifting keel which does not intrude into the interior.

The tender garage accommodates a 3m tender with longitudinal access; this is achieved with minimal intrusion into the aft cabins while the transom also serves as an ample swim platform.

Again, with a choice of interior finishes – light oak, teak, washed and antiqued oak, the craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality throughout is as you would expect from Solaris Yachts.
