The pedigree of Hunt Yachts’ design needs no introduction.

Designed and patented by Ray Hunt as the Deep-V hull, the Hunt 52 oozes timeless grace and capability. This rare EU model from 2010 features a beautifully finished master stateroom forward, cherry interior joinery, tender garage and passarelle, upgraded air-conditioning, and relaxed cruising thanks to her twin C-12 Caterpillars on shafts. With a shaded aft cockpit, wide flush teak-laid decks, and a level of finish that is second to none, the 52’s classic lines and effortless manners at sea make her a truly usable proposition – coveted by yachtsmen and power-boaters alike.

HIGHLAND LASSIE has been owned from new and meticulously maintained, spending her winters under cover and her summers day-cruising the Mediterranean and, more recently, UK waters. She is managed by a full-time skipper regardless of cost and presents in turn-key condition, with a specification sensibly customised as only Hunt Yachts can.

The Hunt 52 boasts a superbly smooth hull design with zero vibration even in broken water. It has long been the choice of commercial and professional agencies, as well as the recreational market – delivering a cushioned upwind ride with excellent natural stability at speed. Below decks, she features the inboard arrangement: the U-shaped galley to port faces the second cabin (with en-suite and day-head/shower forward to starboard). The master stateroom and en-suite are nestled in the bow, and the forward-facing berth is perfect for star-gazing.

At the helm, her console and tall windows provide outstanding visibility at every angle. Skipper and crew alike are spoiled, with elegant detailing, rounded profiling, and abundant comfortable seating. The wheelhouse sole leads directly out to the aft cockpit through a glazed aft bulkhead – typical of the express-style cruiser – while the bathing platform gives easy access to the garage (housing a matching custom Hunt shell-back dinghy). At the owner’s request, Hunt added a telescopic letterbox passarelle for ease of Mediterranean stern-to berthing, and specified twin thrusters with electronic Glendinning throttles to make close-quarters handling a true pleasure.

The on-board electronics have been significantly upgraded. With the latest C-Zone digital switching package connected via a Peplink 3G/4G router, yacht systems can be managed through a touchscreen tablet from anywhere on board. Remote access is available via the Sentinel mobile application, providing instant data and notifications of any potential issues – for complete peace of mind. In addition, a 22” Garmin HD chart plotter display has been installed, with camera monitoring for the engine room and stern mooring.
