TENACITY is hull number 56-021 and was delivered new May 2002. She is a Swan 56 designed by German Frers and is a one owner boat from new. She is a very comfortable performance cruising yacht that is easy to handle.

TENACITY comes with smart looking navy blue topsides, replaced teak decks, twin cockpits, push button sail controls and is powered by a 100hp shaft driven Yanmar diesel engine. Her layout consists of three cabins forward with bunk berths, forward head, saloon, galley, chart table, owners cabin aft with central double berth, and ensuite head.

Conceived for sailing in US waters, the Caribbean and Europe she had a high specification from the outset with Marine Air heating / airconditioning, extra refrigeration, powered winches, etc.

Throughout her life the yacht always had good care and a captain. She had major upgrades including a changed mast, boom furling mainsail, “magic trim” for main, simplified deck plan for easier sailing, a replaced generator, replaced teak deck, and more.

TENACITY has sailed the USA east coast and Caribbean. She has also been shipped to and from Europe for her owners to enjoy cruising in the UK / Scotland, Ireland and in the Mediterranean.

TENACITY is in excellent condition, having been meticulously well maintained.
Viewing is highly recommended.

She sails under BVI flag and VAT is not paid in Europe or in the UK.

Owner’s Comments

TENACITY has been in my family ownership from new, never raced, although we attended the 2012 Sardinia Rolex Swan Regatta and were winner of the best-looking Swan! She has had a full-time skipper from new and is in immaculate condition, ready to go cruising anywhere around the world.

Designed internally to unique exceptional owner’s specification and design, there is no other Swan that has this specific spectacular interior. The deck layout is designed for short-handed family crewing and can be sailed with just two people, unique to this size of yacht.

I have cruised TENACITY with my family, mainly in Newport Rhode Island in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter. Then shipped to Europe where I cruised the Mediterranean including Italy, Sardinia, Croatia and the Balearics again with my family.
