Princess F62 ON ICE was delivered to the current owner in 2019 and has been cruised locally from her mooring at Berthon in Lymington. The experienced owner generously specified her from new to ensure she was equipped for extensive cruising. A qualified skipper has been managing and maintaining the yacht, and this is reflected in her overall condition. ON ICE is being sold because the owners are upgrading to a larger yacht for the next season. She is still being used by the owners and is presented in turnkey condition.

The Princess F62 was launched in 2017, replacing the much-admired Princess 60. Nearly 1 meter longer than her predecessor at 19.34 meters, the F62 features more glazing in both the hull and superstructure, creating an unrestricted view from the saloon and helm. The galley was moved aft, and the sliding doors and opening window allowed perfect synergy with the cockpit. The “F” in F62 stands for Flybridge, which offers plentiful seating and sun lounging, along with a fully equipped wet bar. Down below, there are three stunning en suite cabins finished in Princess’ harmonious and luxurious styling. The master stateroom is full beam and provides amazing views over the water. There is also a crew cabin with two berths fitted out to a high standard. The F62 runs on conventional shafts for simplicity of maintenance, with a range of power options. The MAN V8-1200 is the largest option with a top speed of 35 knots.

As previously mentioned, ON ICE is specified for extensive cruising. Not only is there a Gyroscopic stabilizer from Seakeeper, which is highly effective when at anchor, but there are also fin stabilizers from Sidepower when underway. This combination offers the best of both worlds and is certainly a significant upgrade. ON ICE runs with an ONAN 19KW generator powering the tropical reverse cycle air-conditioning, effective in temperatures up to 40 degrees. For the UK climate, the owner added Erberspacher heating, which is extremely effective and efficient. The specification also includes variable-speed bow and stern thrusters, Raymarine navigation equipment, including Radar and AIS, security cameras, teak decks, complete offshore safety equipment, SAT TV, windscreen demisters, stern docking winches, and a hydraulic bathing platform. The list goes on.
