KAHUNA was launched in 2012 by the well-known shipyard King Marine and completed by M-Boats in Argentina to the design of Dixon Yacht Design. She is a beautifully maintained blue-water cruiser with exceptional onboard comfort and excellent sailing performance.

She was built in composite E-glass/foam core with carbon reinforcement in structural areas. Safety and reliability are kept in mind with properly sized equipment and systems like Southern Spars carbon rig, Lewmar deck hardware, North Sails and twin generators, among others.

KAHUNA has benefited from a full 2020/2021 refit that brought notable updates and upgrades, further service work was carried out in the winter period 2022/2023 which included a full rig check and new rod rigging.

KAHUNA can accommodate eight guests and two crew in five well-appointed cabins. Her accommodation configuration includes an owner’s stateroom forward with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, a guest cabin to portside with two single berths and en-suite bathroom, a guest cabin to starboard side with a double bed and two aft cabins with upper/lower beds, both sharing one large bathroom aft, which also includes a separate area for wet clothes.

Her interior is finished with Mahogany wood throughout and comfortable furnishings. The raised deck saloon midships offers a large seating area to port and a settee to starboard to relax and socialize, with lots of natural light entering from the surrounding windows. Aft is a navigation station and a large U-shaped galley.

KAHUNA’s exterior teak-covered deck spaces are uncluttered and clean. There is a cockpit area with twin steering positions, seating and two tables, perfect for guests to hang out and spend time alfresco. She has a second entrance on the aft deck to the cabins aft/navigation station, a large lazarette aft for storage and a hydraulically opening stern bathing platform.
