Broker’s Comments

The Moody DS48 #20 NEW REGRETS is in virtually brand-new condition. She was delivered in July 2025, spent her first summer in the Baltic, and was then stored indoors in Germany from late August 2025 until June of this year, when she was shipped to Palma. This summer, she was family-cruised around the Balearic Islands and the Spanish coast, and is now laid up near Barcelona for the winter.

The boat is fully equipped with an extensive list of factory options, including the upgraded engine, generator, lithium battery bank, air conditioning, and diesel heating. She features fully push-button sail handling with an electric in-mast mainsail, two electric-furled headsails, electric winches, variable-speed bow and stern thrusters, a dinghy garage with an electric dinghy davit, and a full suite of Raymarine electronics at both helm stations.

The interior layout offers 3 double cabins, each with an en-suite head, stall shower, and backlit mirrors. The cabinetry is finished in light oak veneers with continental oak flooring. The galley cabinets are finished in light oak with pebble grey countertops. The galley is fully equipped with a drawer fridge/freezer, top- and front-loading fridges, a dishwasher, a Miele microwave oven, and a 3-burner stove with oven.

The light and airy saloon has a U-shaped settee to starboard with a hi/low table, and a dinette to port with a hi/low table, each side making extra berths, if needed.

The wide cockpit, accessed from the deckhouse via a sliding door, features port and starboard varnished teak cockpit tables and is fully enclosed by custom mesh canvas with a retractable fabric sliding roof. The helm deck is protected by a bimini and includes the optional wet bar storage with a drinks fridge. Wide side decks are illuminated by courtesy lights all the way to the bow, where you will find a forward seating area with cushions and a removable teak table.

The swim platform is electrically lowered, features fold-out swim stairs, and gives access to the dinghy garage, which is also enclosed with a canvas privacy screen.

Electronics are by Raymarine, featuring plotters at each helm station, dual autopilots with additional internal controls at the port dinette, an ORCA nav system, a FLIR thermal camera, and Starlink.

A Miele washer/dryer is located in the port cockpit locker.

Entertainment is via a 40” TV on a lifter in the saloon, a Fusion sound system, and a TV in the owner’s cabin.

NEW REGRETS is registered in the Marshall Islands and is owned in a single-asset Marshall Islands company.

Owner’s Comments

We fell in love with the Moody DS48 design at the Annapolis Boat Show in 2024, and she has proven to be a wonderful boat for the two of us and our son and daughter. She is easy to sail with a small crew, yet spacious enough for extended time on board. She is perfect for entertaining, sailing with friends, and offshore passage-making. A change in our plans is the only reason for selling her – we have loved every minute on board!
