For some yachts, crossing an ocean is an occasional ambition. For DORADO OF BEAULIEU, it has been central to the way she has been owned and prepared.

Designed by Rob Humphreys and launched in 2002, she combines the renowned ocean-going pedigree of Oyster with the performance, comfort and self-sufficiency needed for serious long-distance cruising.

DORADO has already proved her resilience, having survived Hurricane Ivan. Following her 2016/17 Berthon refit, she crossed the Atlantic to the Caribbean, where she became a winter cruising home for her owners. Although their planned circumnavigation ultimately did not take place, DORADO continued to be maintained with extended cruising in mind.

Today, DORADO presents a compelling opportunity for an experienced sailor looking for a genuine world girdler. She is a yacht equipped not simply for bluewater sailing, but for independent long-range cruising.
